Matches is my 2010 Subaru WRX STi Special Edition.

The name?  Between a joke about flux capacitors (leaving trails of fire), and "playing with fire," it was the perfect name for a car that so closely "matched" its driver in versatility and audacity. Then, what started as pure enthusiasm became an incurable love affair.​

I work on him myself for the most part (I rebuilt the entire engine myself), and we've had a good amount of track days the past few years, but we've also journeyed far and wide, having visited a total of 30 U.S. states, with continued hopes of venturing even further.

Join me as I wholeheartedly push Matches to new places, heights and extremes, and encounter all walks of life. We love that we can inspire more car enthusiasts [and non-enthusiasts] to partake in exploring new and obscure paths on the road and in life.
